Composition of Compost: Breaking it Down

The class is part of the Gutiérrez-Hubbell House Backyard Composting Series. What makes a good compost? In this workshop, investigate using a microscope with the help of an expert to understand the breakdown and basic microbiology of soil and compost. It will be held at the Ag Center which is just north of the Gutiérrez-Hubbell House. Parking is located across from the building on the south side of the driveway. If the parking fills, people can park at Gutierrez-Hubbell House and walk over. Instructor: Master Composter Josh Weybright. The class is free, but you must register.
