About

The class is part of the Gutiérrez-Hubbell House Backyard Composting Series. The Bokashi method is a two-step approach to composting. The first step is anaerobic, involving the fermentation of food waste. The fermented food waste is then incorporated into the soil during the second stage. There are several advantages to the method including the ability to incorporate meat and dairy products.

Please note that the class is held in the Ag Center which is the white building to the north of the museum/event area.  Turn into the 1st main drive on the west after Don Felipe.

Instructor: Master Composter Rye Bailey. To register, please go to the event registration page.
